Pipeline templates

Building a pipeline from scratch takes thought. A template skips that: pick a ready-made flow, give it a name, and you get a complete, published pipeline — ready for its first case right away.

Starting from a template

  1. Go to Pipelines and choose New pipeline, then Start from a template. (If your workspace has no pipeline yet, the case board offers Choose a template right on the spot.)
  2. Pick a template. Each card shows who the flow manages, how many steps it has, and a short description — and the Read more about this template in the FAQ link opens that template's page here on the help site, so you know what you're getting before you create anything.
  3. Keep the suggested name or type your own, then choose Create pipeline.

That's it — the new pipeline is published immediately, and you can create your first case on it right away.

Make it yours

A template is a starting point, not a contract. After creating, open the pipeline in the editor to rename steps, add or remove them, and adjust what each step requires — the Customize link in the confirmation message takes you straight there.

Your copy is yours alone

The pipeline you create is an independent copy. If a template changes later, your pipeline stays exactly as you built it — and nothing you change ever affects the template.

The templates

The catalog is curated and grows over time. Each template below has its own page explaining who it's for and what it covers:

There's also a General Intake template — a minimal referral → in progress → done flow when you just need somewhere simple to start. And if none of them fit, Start blank is always there.

Don't see your process? We'll build it with you

Every organization works a little differently, and the catalog can't cover them all. Tell us how your intake works and we'll help you design a custom pipeline for it — reach out here and we'll take it from there.

Templates evolve

Templates get refined over time, so the pages above describe each flow in broad strokes rather than step by step. For the exact steps, create the pipeline and open it in the editor — and shape it from there.
