Groups & Programs Overview
Groups & Programs is where you run your classes, workshops, and support groups — enrolling people, holding sessions, and taking attendance as you go.
Programs and groups
- A program is the template — the what. You create it once and give it a name, a short description, and the kinds of cases that can join. You can also set how many sessions count as finishing.
- A group is a real, running class — the when and where. You create a group from a program and give it a location and a schedule (for example, "Mondays 2–3 pm at the Main Street Center").
One program can have many groups. The same program might run as five different groups in five different locations — same plan, different rooms and times.
What you'll do here
- Set up a program — see Creating a program.
- Start a group from that program — see Creating a group.
- Enroll people onto the group's roster — see Enrolling participants.
- Hold sessions and take attendance — see Sessions and attendance.
- Mark people complete when they finish — see Completing participants.
- Export rosters and attendance for reports — see Exporting.
The three tabs of a group
Open any group and you'll find everything in three simple tabs:
- Roster — who's in the group.
- Sessions — each meeting the group holds.
- Attendance — who showed up to each session.
