Publishing

Events only reach the public after you publish them. Until then they're drafts, visible just to your team. Publishing — and taking an event back down — both happen in the Public Events area.

Publish a draft

  1. On the New Events tab, find the draft you want.
  2. Select Approve.
  3. Confirm when asked — for example, "Approve and publish [event name]?" For a series, you'll be asked to approve the whole series (the schedule plus all its dates) at once.

The event moves to the Site Events tab and appears on your organization's public website.

Cancel a published event

  1. On the Site Events tab, find the event.
  2. Select Cancel and confirm.

A cancelled event comes off the public site. For a series, cancelling can take down the entire series.

What the public sees

Only published events appear on your website — drafts and cancelled events stay private to your team. An event you marked Internal still shows on the calendar, but with a small lock so visitors know it isn't open to just anyone.
