Creating a program

A program is the template your groups run from. You set it up once, then start as many groups from it as you need.

Create one

  1. Go to Programs and select New program.
  2. Fill in the details:
    • Name (required) — what the program is called, for example "Drug & Tobacco Awareness."
    • Description (optional) — a short summary, goals, or who it's for.
    • Eligible case types (required) — the pipelines whose cases are allowed to enroll in this program's groups. Only people on one of these pipelines can be added to the roster.
    • Required sessions for completion (optional) — how many sessions someone needs to attend to be "ready to complete." When you set this, the roster shows a Ready to complete tag once a participant reaches it.
  3. Select Create program.

About "ready to complete"

Setting required sessions doesn't finish anyone automatically — it just flags who's reached the goal. You always confirm completion yourself on the roster.

Keeping programs tidy

A program can be active or archived. Only active programs show up when you start a new group, so archive a program when you're no longer running it — you can always bring it back later.
