Creating a program
A program is the template your groups run from. You set it up once, then start as many groups from it as you need.
Create one
- Go to Programs and select New program.
- Fill in the details:
- Name (required) — what the program is called, for example "Drug & Tobacco Awareness."
- Description (optional) — a short summary, goals, or who it's for.
- Eligible case types (required) — the pipelines whose cases are allowed to enroll in this program's groups. Only people on one of these pipelines can be added to the roster.
- Required sessions for completion (optional) — how many sessions someone needs to attend to be "ready to complete." When you set this, the roster shows a Ready to complete tag once a participant reaches it.
- Select Create program.
About "ready to complete"
Setting required sessions doesn't finish anyone automatically — it just flags who's reached the goal. You always confirm completion yourself on the roster.
Keeping programs tidy
A program can be active or archived. Only active programs show up when you start a new group, so archive a program when you're no longer running it — you can always bring it back later.
