Inviting members

Bring your teammates into the workspace from Workspace Settings → Workspace Members. You choose what each person can do as you invite them — see Roles and permissions.

You'll need admin access

Inviting and managing members is an admin job. If you don't see these options, your role doesn't include them.

Invite someone

The portal doesn't email invitations yet. Instead, you create an invitation link and send it to your teammate yourself:

  1. Open Workspace Settings and go to Workspace Members.
  2. Select Get Invitation Link.
  3. Enter their Email Address and choose one or more Roles.
  4. Select Generate Link.
  5. Select Copy, then send the link to your teammate however you like — email, chat, or text.

The link is tied to the email address you entered, so only that person can use it. Inviting several people? Select Create Another and repeat.

Copy the link right away

For security, the portal shows an invitation link only once — there's no way to look it up later. If the link slips away before you've shared it, no harm done: use Regenerate Link under Pending Invitations to get a fresh one.

Skip the Invite Member button for now

You'll also see an Invite Member button that offers to email the invitation for you. Those emails aren't going out yet. If you've already used it, the invitation is safe — find it under Pending Invitations, select Regenerate Link, and send the new link yourself.

Tell them about two-factor authentication

Everyone you invite has a limited number of days to set up two-factor authentication before the portal stops letting them into the workspace. A banner counts the days down for them, but people close banners. Say it in the message you send with the link, and point them at Two-factor authentication.

A teammate who misses the deadline isn't locked out for good — they just have to set up an authenticator app before they can carry on. A teammate who loses the phone holding their codes is a bigger job: neither you nor they can reset it, so it has to come to Neffico support.

Manage pending invitations

Invitations you've created appear under Pending Invitations, each showing the email, the role, and when it expires. From there you can:

  • Regenerate Link — get a fresh link to share, handy if your teammate lost the message or you never got to copy it. The new link appears once for you to copy, and the old link stops working right away — so if you'd already sent one, send the new one instead.
  • Revoke — cancel an invitation you no longer want. Its link stops working immediately.

Change or remove a member

In the Active Members list, open the menu on a member's card to:

  • Edit Roles — change what they can access.
  • Remove Member — take them out of the workspace.

A few safety rules

You can't change your own roles — another admin has to do that for you. And a workspace must always keep at least one admin, so the portal won't let you remove the admin role from the last person who has it.
