Recurring events
When an event happens more than once — a weekly class, a monthly meeting — you set it up as a recurring series. You describe the pattern once, and the portal creates an event for each date it runs.
Turn an event into a series
While creating or editing an event, turn on Recurring Event to open the Recurrence Settings:
- Repeat — choose Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly.
- Repeat every — how often, like every 1 week or every 2 weeks.
- Repeat on — for weekly or monthly patterns, pick the days (for example, every Monday).
- Choose when it ends: Never, On date, or After a number of times.
As you set the pattern, a preview tells you how many events this will create and lists the next few dates, so you can check it before saving.

Changing the schedule rebuilds the series
If you change the repeat pattern of a published series, the portal warns you: "Updating the recurrence rule will delete all existing occurrences and regenerate them. This cannot be undone." Choose Regenerate to continue, or Cancel to leave it as-is.
Because this rebuilds every date in the series, any changes you made to individual dates are replaced. Only change the pattern when you really mean to reset the whole series.
When you're happy with the series, publish it the same way as any event — see Publishing. Approving a series publishes the whole thing at once.
